You can uninstall, then reinstall. If you follow KB#1013, and make sure to keep the application pool and websites names as specified, then the installer will detect them next time and upgrade as needed.

It's not supported under any hosting (IWS, IIS); our applications must be a "root" application.

Hello Jim, Is there anything in Event Viewer → System from Service Control Manager, or anything from ProGet in the Application section of the event viewer?

Please note that this (or any multi-node) installation requires a ProGet Enterprise or ProGet Load Balanced License to be purchased. ProGet Basic and ProGet Free only permit a single server to be used in a single installation. That said, we recommend IIS because it's the easiest to support (by your own network admin team) and has many configuration options. In theory, you could probably use the integrated server. A HA configuration ought to use a SQL Cluster, otherwise you have a single point of failure.

I bumped into this issue as well. It turns out if you wanna use existing local SQL server, you need to add an account "NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE" to your SQL database. To be clear, this account is added to ProGet database during installation but it didn't mark as "Public" in server role.

Make sure that the service has started; if it's not, then investigate the windows error log to see if anything in there occur when you attempt to start it. Make sure there are no firewalls, or other tools are preventing access from that port being accessed.

This isn't currently exposed in the UI, but you can run this SQL query against ProGet's database to get a list of cached packages in a NuGet feed: SELECT * FROM [NuGetPackages_Extended] WHERE [Cached_Indicator] = 'Y' AND [Feed_Name] = 'MyFeedName'

Looks like there was an additional issue being caused by the feed metadata being slightly off. We've published another fix (v3.3.4).

Hi David i got a similar error after installing, but in the web server process (inedobmwebsrv). Im my case it occured because the port i chose for the webservice (80) was already in use. A quick check revealed that skype was using port 80 ... quitting skype and restarting the server solved the problem for me. Cheers, Boris

Are you using the integrated web server? If so, you'll need to add the host name: http://inedo.com/support/kb/1014/changing-buildmasters-url-with-the-integrated-web-server It's also pretty easy to upgrade to IIS, if it's already installed on the box: http://inedo.com/support/kb/1013/hosting-buildmaster-through-iis-instead-of-the-integrated-web-server

If you're using the integrated web server, can you verify that the "BuildMaster Web Server" service is started? (Start > Run > "services.msc" to check, if it's not, just click Start). If you're using IIS to host the BuildMaster site, can you verify that the site is started and the BuildMaster app pool is running?

You need to add an additional host name to the Integrated Web Server. Check out: http://inedo.com/support/kb/1014
