The Proget LDAP integration is still very slow from Package Manager

We have not been able to turn on LDAP because of the slow response times that we see in the Package Manger in Visual Studio 2013. Sometimes VS cannot even connect! I looked up the question in your Q & A regarding this issue from 2014 but apparently this is not resolved yet. Please advise how we can get around this problem.

Hi Ole, any slowness caused by queries against complex/large AD trees has been resolved as far as we know.
This is likely an issue with your network configuration in Kerberos authentication resolution.
