When I try to modify an existing TFS issue tracker (see image), I get a blank validation error. It doesn't seem to be related to the change I'm making, as it appears even if I make no changes and try to save. I've tried resetting all of the fields in different ways and this always prevents me from saving any changes. The only way I can get it to work is to delete the issue tracker and recreate it, and reconfigure all my applications to use the new one.

This happens in any browser, by the way (Firefox, Chrome, IE). I also noticed it started happening around release 4.1.1, maybe 4.0.9 but I'm not sure.

As a workaround, can you try changing the name of the provider? Like, append a "2" or something?

Yeah, if I add a space to the end of the name, it will let me save. I believe this started happening around the time that the "Allow HTML" checkbox was added there.

Ah, I think I know the issue; we also added a "duplicate name check" recently.

There must be another scm provider with the same name that's triggering the dup check.

There shouldn't be. It's probably trying to create a new record for whatever reason and that is triggering the dupe check. There's no other provider with that name.
