Activation fails for offline laptop about once a month

I run in an offline senario and I use proget as a local cache for my nuget server when I'm detached from the network but about once a month the free activation fails and I have to go and get a new key. This is painful because It takes sometime a day or more to get the key over to my closed network. Can you improve the algorithm so that it does not fail.

Maybe when you're offline, your network interface changes? I suppose in this case, you can just save your activation code in a text file, and swap it as you need?
