Build Retention Policy Not reflecting

The build retention policy has been set to value 50 that is business wants to retain the last 50 builds only. However, this is not being reflected and all the older builds are also being retained. Please let us know how this can be acheived.

Can you share a screenshot of your retention policy, and show you what you expect to be deleted? It might be easiest to submit a ticket for this.
