Using Artifactory as Binary Repository in Otter
-
We are using Artifactory to hold all our third party applications and our artifacts built from our CI.
I would like to use Otter to setup our VMs.
What is the best way to get the artifacts so I can install them.
Do you have an extension similar to that of ProGet?
Thanks.
Leo
Product: Otter
Version: 1.5.5

Actually we're in the process of building a brand-new (and officially supported) Artifactory extension! It's currently being evaluated by a few users.
Could you take a look at the operations (specifically, the Properties) and let us know your thoughts?

We can also provide a beta version of it as well.

Great!
Please send me you beta. Would like to try it out.
Right now, our needs are:
- Get artifacts through Otter so we can deploy
- Ensure that credentials are securely used
I saw that you have also installed GetArtifactMetadataOperation. I think we will need this later to ensure that the files we downloaded can be verified.
Thanks.

Leo

Hi Leo, can you try this?

Note it will need to be manually installed by just copying the otterx file to your extensions folder.
