Adding AD group doesn't give access for user
-
Directory is set to "active Directory (New)".
When I add a permission for a specific user from my AD everything seems to work fine, but if I add a group, that contains that user, no permission is granted. Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot this would be appreciated.
Product: ProGet

Is this user a direct member? If not, you need the latest InedoCore extension (v1.0.8 as of a few minutes ago) and make sure to enable recursive search in its advanced configuration.
-
I just updated the extension, and now I get this error:
There was an error attempting to load the user directory 'Active Directory (New)' (ID=4). This is likely a result of the InedoCore extension failing to load, or some other custom user directory load failure.
And I'm unable to log in(Fixing that as we speak)

And where do I change the recursive setting? Can't find anything in advanced settings?
And with that said, the user in question is a direct member of the group as far as I can tell.

This is configured in:
Admin > Change User Directory (LDAP) > Advanced > Active Directory (New)
There are ways to test/debug on that page as well.

Ok, recursive search enabled, it still doesn't assign the rights based on my group membership.
I'll create a ticket with a few screenshots, I'd rather not post names of our internal groups on the wider internet :)
