      Good afternoon,

Our team is having an issue with source code being seemingly unavailable for an installed package from our ProGet server (stepping into the code is not functioning). We have found that the symbol (pdb) files downloaded from ProGet do have indexed source files. However the target path is Http (example: http://{progetserver}/source-files/debug/...). We are going through an F5 which routes HTTPS traffic to HTTP. The latter is inaccessible directly. So, the URLS as they are do not work.

Is there some setting we can change so the paths in the symbol files to source are using HTTPS?

      Product: ProGet
      Version: 3.7.6

hi, you can try to set the ODataBaseUrl property in the Advanced Settings.

I have already previously changed that setting to: https://{progetserver}/nuget/ from http, in order for the API Endpoint URLs to be accessible. This does not seem to be affecting the URLs for source code indexing.

Thanks; I just looked, and it looks like the source server does not utilize that.

I've logged an issue (PG-445) for this, and it should be in the next maintenance release (3.8.1).

Thank you very much, Alana! I will upgrade to that when it's available.

I can confirm that the the debugger is now correctly using https for source code indexing URL, however since it's reusing the same value from the ODataBaseUrl property, the URL for source code indexing ends up being incorrect. The ODataBaseUrl is currently set to: https://{progetserver}/nuget/, to correct the API endpoint URLs. Could another property be created, or case statement be used depending on scenario? Thank you!

Ah, ok, that would definitely be an issue.

I've added another change [PG-449] to add a new property called BaseUrl. It should be out in the next maint release.
