BuildMaster Agent Application Protocol

We're setting up the firewall rules for an agent within a restricted environment, and need to specify the Application Layer Protocol being used.
Can you tell us what the Application Layer Protocol for the Self Hosted Agent is?
Can you also confirm whether the IIS Hosted agent uses SOAP over HTTP?

The self-hosted agent uses a proprietary binary protocol over TCP that is optimized for performance. IIS agents do indeed use SOAP over HTTP (or HTTPS). Both agent types can be secured using SSL encryption and client IP restriction.
