Installer Issue with 'SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS’

the installer wants to set the database collation to ‘SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS’.
This step however fails with following exception: “The database could not be exclusively locked to perform the operation.”
Manually setting the database to single user, i.e.:
ALTER DATABASE [DbName] SET SINGLE_USER WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATEresolved this issue.

Another quick way you can close all connections to the database:
ALTER DATABASE [DbName] SET OFFLINE WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE ALTER DATABASE [DbName] SET ONLINE
