Deploy Build Artifact - Previous Release

I use a Deploy Build Artifact action to deploy the current build artifact into production with the Artifact name property of the action set to the name of the application.
If I now want to create an action group that executes in the event of the deployment failing how would I use the Deploy Build Artifact action to retrieve and deploy the artifact associated with the previous release version?

This sort of workflow isn't really support; the standard way to do this is to re-execute a previous release's promotion to Production, thereby setting the context for the artifact to that of the previous-deployed build.
