Python: running unit tests

I'd like to run unit tests using pytest for my python application. pytest can generate a junit style xml document, which I'd like to display as unit test report on the package detail page. Would you be able to advise whether this is possible?

We currently do not support pytest but will take this into advisement and treat this ticket as a feature request
