The Universal Packages system is very interesting, but it seems to be lacking some basic functionality. Is it by design that the upack.exe tool does not ship with an uninstall or an upgrade feature? The install locations are stored in the package registry, so it should be possible I guess?

        Hi Wouter,

It would be possible - it's just a matter of figuring out what the behavior should be. I'd propose that it would just remove all files originally installed by the package, then unregister it. This is actually the behavior of our Romp tool, which extends upack with scripting capabilities.

I also don't get why this is not implemented in upack. This prevents me from using it.
