      Hey,

I'm using a nuget feed with connectors. After removing a connector, this packages of the removed connector are still visible.
Then I tried to clear the cache in the feed, but this button doesn't seem to work!

How can I delete the cache or the old packages?

      Thank you!

      Dear
      Frank

      Product: ProGet

        Hello Frank,

Are the remaining packages marked as Package Source: Remote Connector (cached) in the left sidebar?

I'm running into the same issue on 5.1.6.

Removed the connector, cleared cache on the feed properties page, restarted both main and web services, even restarted the machine: packages are not removed. Also tried to run the "Connector Cache Check", but nothing.

They do say Remote Connector (cached).

            Hello Pedro,

I've tracked down the root cause of this issue. PG-1362 will be fixed in the next release of ProGet.

              Hi Ben,

Thanks for looking into this issue.

This is impacting us a lot. We recently updated to 5.x.x from an older version (and have been actively updating to the minors as they have been available) and have seen a performance hit. We had a connector to the main nuget gallery and this caused us to cache lots of packages. Now, when we browse the packages (either online or in Visual Studio), Proget is frozen for a long time until it's able to show the packages. This affects not only when restoring packages, but also our CI/CD builds, as we also host a Docker registry, and our installer generation. We need to clear those older packages asap.

I understand 5.1.9 was released last week, but is there any way to get a hotfix version soon?

Looks like it made it in 5.1.10

It's fixed. Not only that, but listing the packages also seems faster. Thanks!
