Connector won't pull SemVer 2.0.0 packages from nuget.org

I have a proget nuget feed configured with a connector to nuget.org. Recently I have noticed that SemVer 2.0.0 packages are not showing up in the feed.
e.g.
https://www.nuget.org/packages/Microsoft.VisualStudio.Web.CodeGeneration.Utils/
in my feed I can see all versions up to 2.1.0-preview1-final, but nothing since then. This is the last version that is not designated as a SemVer 2.0.0 package.
Any help resolving this would be appreciated.
n.b. I have tried this with both quirks mode and standard nuget feeds in ProGet

This will be addressed in next maintenance release as PG-1294 . As a workaround, you can access the package directly by version number even without this fix.
