Issue looking up users with Active Directory with Multiple Domains
-
Hello,
We are unable to configure new users in BuildMaster when using Active Directory with Multiple Domains.
Buildmaster is not able to look up Principals. Previously configured users work.
Adding new users through the database does not work, either.
Thanks,

If this is the case, most likely the user account BuildMaster is running under doesn't have accesss to query these domains.
You may want to try the ACtive Directory (New) provider; this has some new options for username/password you can type in to access other directories.

Hi Alana,
We have verified that the account the BuildMaster service is running under has access to our Active Directory. Could the issue be related to BuildMaster not being able to parse our AD structure?
Thanks,

It's really hard to say; if the built-in testing functionality within the user directory screens aren't providing any useful information, then you'll need to run the same code that BuildMAster does to try to isolate/trap further errors.
This is the user directory code; it's quite simple, and is using Microsoft's LDAP libraries.
