I need the ability to setup a feed source(s) and then choose and save a white-list of packages and versions from a source.

      Product: ProGet
      Version: 4.7.12

I think you can use Filters for this case. You can add a package ID like MyCompany.SomeProduct or a wildcard like MyCompany.*. A long list might be hard to work with, since it's just a text box, but if you're only adding new things to the list every so often and not modifying the list all the time, it should be fine.

I looked at that but that would be painful to manage. It would prefer a UI to search for packages and approve them. Having to type each one in is cumbersome.
Further, I want to approve certain versions.

I see! In this case, you should set up two feeds: a Public and an Approved feed.

Then, from there, you can "Promote" packages from the one feed to another.

Can I stop developers from accessing the Public feed?
