Is it possible to create a DB Connection to an AWS RDS MS SQL server (using builtin Database Connections)?

      Product: BuildMaster
      Version: 5.6.2

It should work, if you use the SQL Server database type.

          Thanks @Alana,

Hmmm... So, that is how I've set it up but it is not working. Does the BuildMaster server need to be able to connect to RDS directly, or can it use the agent of the server selected in the Database Connection setup?

The problem I have is that our BuildMaster server is on-prem and does NOT have direct access to the RDS instance. It needs to use a server within the AWS environment (at least as configured) to connect.

So, if I cannot use the agent, I will have to expose RDS to our BuildMaster server. However, I'd rather use the agent if possible.

          Does that make sense?

What you described should work; the connection should be proxied through the agent server you selected. however, I see you also submitted a ticket... so we'll review via that!
