We want to use your Universal Feed to store our website binaries etc. We can't use Microsoft's IIS deployment infrastructure for a few reason. So the next best thing (and perhaps the best thing) is to use your Universal Feed from within our own Configuration tool. However, we need to be able to debug our website when thing go wrong. Thus we would like to use your Symbol Server, like we currently do with the Nuget feeds.

Is this possible? If not, we assume it could be done and if so could we get an ETA?

      Product: ProGet
      Version: 4.6.1

This is pretty much what the universal feeds are designed for...

However, ProGet's source/symbol server is designed to work only with NuGet/library packages, where developers otherwise would not have source code and intend to debug packages running on their computer in visual studio; we did this because symbol support is built-in the NuGet client.

The use case you describe is much different. If you want to debug a remote server application, it's very complex to configure. At that point, you can just have developers have a local copy of the source code on their workstation.

          For completeness:
An alternate approach is to create a private source server and update to both the source server and to the Universal Feed from out in-house deployment tool. But we were hope that we could have pig-backed on what you already had.

          Oh well.
          Thanks.
