Unable to add bower package to feed

There seems to be an issue with the default bower feed, where packages cannot be downloaded from the feed. Also adding packages manually causes an uncaught exception to be thrown.

Version: 4.5.0 -
This error can occur if there is already a package reference with that name in a bower feed. Of course, should bea friendlier error message...

So that would be great if they were indeed added into my packages, but it seems that they are not.
