Maven feed not found

When we go to the maven feed URL (http://proget.company.com/maven2.maven) we get the error message "There is no page or resource at the URL you requested: /maven2/maven"

Our npm and nuget feeds are fine however and the same permissions are on all the feeds.
Any ideas on why we might be seeing this?

A 404 is expected if you visit the root of a maven api url; that is an endpoint that is not intended to be visited from your web browser, but by the maven client.
