I have a Feed with two connectors. One to the standard Nuget repository and one to my own Teamcity hosted repository with authentication enabled.

I create a connector for the Teamcity repository and put my username and password in.

The feed now shows packages from my Teamcity feed and I can click on them to see details.

But when I click Pull to Progetand then Install package I get an error "The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized."

Why is Pull to proget not using the username / password that it used to get the package list and details?

[Using free version for now as I'm evaluating]

      Product: ProGet
      Version: 4.0.10

Hmm, that shouldn't be the case; what if you download the package via the NuGet client?

I can download it from Visual Studio using Nuget. Pull to Proget is the only place I get a 401 error.

We've logged this as a bug for further investigation and will try to fix this in the next maintenance release.

              Hi,

just writing to let you know that this is a very serious issue for us. Up to the point of not using ProGet and switching to a different solution.

In case this is resolved we shall even consider buying a subscription.

              Cheers

As far as I'm aware, the original issue in this thread has been resolved long ago.

If there is a new issue with pulling connector packages, please post a new question.
