How to get connector filter working for prerelease

I'm trying to set a filter on our nuget.org remote repository. Ultimately I want to exclude pre-release packages from nuget.org. However, I'm trying a filter example of Microsoft.* for a filter. I'm expecting to only see those packages from nuget.or and no others when I browse to our private feed. What am I missing? And, how do I filter prerelease packages once I know how to make filters work?

Looks like the filter doesn't apply to cached packages. Not sure how to clear those. Also still looking for a way to filter out prerelease packages. I can do something like !-alpha, but there are other strings used as well, -rc, -final, -beta. It would be nice to just filter out all prerelease with one line.

Connectors can only be filtered by ID, so you'll have to rely on the client to filter by pre-release versions.
