I just installed ProGet and everything works fine. But the caching of packages from npmjs.org seems to work a bit strange.

Our dependency tree contains hundreds of packages but ProGet has only cached 33 of them (in C:\ProgramData\ProGet\Packages.npm). I see no logic in which packages are cached and which aren't.

But if I run npm install I get all the packages from ProGet. But it would be nice if we had all dependencies cached in case of a problem with npmjs.org.

      Product: ProGet
      Version: 4.0.8

Nevermind. It was due to my local cache in ~\AppData\Roaming\npm-cache so npm never tried to fetch them from the server.

I cleaned it out and ran npm install and now everything works! Sorry for the noise.
