I'd like to migrate my Packages directory from the default local location (c:\programdata\ProGet) to a location on my network accessible by UNC path (ie \servername\ProGet). Would this be as easy as copying my Packages directory to the network location and then changing the 'PackagesRootPath' to my UNC path? Thank you.

      Product: ProGet
      Version: 3.8.5

That's pretty much it, but please make sure to stop the ProGet service before you do the move. It performs periodic consistency checks, and you wouldn't want that running in the middle of files being moved.

Hi, This is an old thread but i have the same question. We're on 5.3.17 and have used up all of the space on C:\. We have 1TB on D:\, so I just want to move the PackagesRootPath to there. Does the above pattern still apply?

          thanks
