      Hi,

We setup a Proget environment and secured this with LDAP authentication. The downside is that for retrieving any package, we need to login (including our build server).

Is it possible not to secure the retrieval of packages? Actually we only want to login when we maintain packages.

      thanks,
      Jeroen

      Product: ProGet
      Version: 3.7.6

If you are using Windows Integrated Authentication, then all requests to the server must be authenticated. It's not possible to change this at a per-feed, or per-url level (due to IIS restrictions).

You can, however, disable Integrated Authentication and grant Anonymous access while using LDAP (which only provides names/passwords).

Thanks for the quick response, I'll check if this is possible in our current setup.

Thanks, it works (after we updated to the latest version).
