Configuring private NuGet feed: see packages for all, download only for authenticated
-
Can I configure private NuGet feed with ProGet and give anonymous users rights for watching the packages, but registered users will be able to download them? If yes, how to achieve this?
I've tried to do this by removing the "Download package" token from anonymous user, but after doing this, anonymous users were still able to download packages.
web server type: integrated
authentication type: built-inProduct: ProGet
Version: 3.5.7 -
The way you've described is how it should work... are you sure the users aren't just downloading from the NuGet cache or something else? How are you verifying that the anonymous users are able to download packages?

Thank you for the cache tip. I've included
-NoCachemodifier to a command, and ProGet asked me about credentials.
