Symbols Server Privileges

I would like to ask how to set up the privilege of the symbol server, there are many times we need to keep our symbol server secret, only a specific person can access.
Product: ProGet
Version: 4.3.1 -
You would want to create a seperate symbols feed for this, and then restrict who can access that feed. Note that this requires the paid version of ProGet.

I use the free version of the set up only Admin this account to access the feed, but the symbol server in the case of no log in or can be downloaded to the free version does not support these permissions function?

I am using a free version.
I set the task in the all feed access Admin is the account, but the symbol server source code can be downloaded to anyone. Did not appear any account login authentication.
Will the free version does not support these features. -
Hi, I would like to know more about this myself. We have the paid version of ProGet (Basic), but there is still no security on the symbol server. Is this something we need a higher level of licensing for, or is adding security (APIKey for e.g.) to the symbol server something that is on the roadmap?

Unfortunately Visual Studio doesn't support authenticated symbol servers; i.e. if ProGet sends a 401 response, there is no authentication challenge.
We may be adding a feature in 4.7 that allows for "url authentication" of sorts, where you use a "obscured" url with an api key in it somewhere that will cause authentication to be effectively bypassed.
