How to restore previous proxy setting
-
My NuGet proxy feed was appearing empty so I tried to update the proxy settings of the server.
Now the server is not reachable at all. Is there a way to restore the proxy setting without the web interface?
Thanks!
Product: ProGet
Version: 4.3.1

Changing the Proxy setting will not impact the website availability; only the connectors. I would make sure the service is still running, or AppPool if using IIS.

You are right, the service was down, it seems only to crash with my proxy settings. In the windows event log I see this:
Application: ProGet.Service.exe
Framework Version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
Exception Info: System.UriFormatException

So is there a way to restore the proxy settings without using the web page? The server won't boot up now that the setting is wrongly formatted ...

Ah, that is a bug; we will have to fix that.
But in the mean time, the best way to do this is to go in the [Configuration] table, and delete the "Proxy." rows.

I installed the "built-in" version of SQL server, does it install a viewer at the same time?
Do you have any info on how to access the database?
Thanks!

You could install the SQL Tools, but there may be a osql.exe installed that you could have command-line access to.
