Authentication on connector feeds

If we add a Active directory group to a feed on a Proget server which connects to another feed on a different Proget server and do not add the Active directory to the this one.
What account does the authentication to the other feed is it the user running the Proget service or the username and password used for the connector feed.

The connector authentication is for basic auth, if you're using integrate authentication then it may not be required (assuming that it's configured properly on the Windwos/domain side)
