Limit the number of active releases displayed on the home page

Is there a way to limit the number of active releases displayed on the homepage? Our list is growing so long that it takes forever, and our browsers ask us if we want to stop the javascript.

We'll change the behavior to limit the number of releases to 20 or so; this will be included in v4.8.2. Curious, how many active releases are in that box where you're seeing this behavior?

Actually want to just send a screenshot to us at support?
We're just trying to figure out how to best optimize some of these screens when there's a really large number of active releases.

FYI - there is now a 30-release limit as of v4.8.2.
