I'm trying to setup a connector to nuget but when I try and browse packages from my feed it times out with an error saying "There was an error with a connector: Unable to connect to remote server". From the same machine i am able to browse packages on nuget.org. The settings I have for the connector are:

      url: https://www.nuget.org/api/v2/
      name: nuget.org
      username: blank
      password: blank
      timeout: 30 seconds
      filters: *

      Product: ProGet
      Version: 3.7.0

Are you visiting it through a proxy either within ProGet or from your browser? Unless configured to do so, ProGet doesn't use a proxy when making requests to connectors.

Yes there is a proxy, although my browser is configured to automatically so I don't know what it is. So I've changed the ProGet server proxy configuration to Use Windows proxy settings and re-started the ProGet service - but I'm still getting the same error.

There is a bug in 3.7.x that will be fixed in 3.7.4

On the proxy configuration page, can you enter a dummy value into "Exclude URLs" section, e.g. "example.org"?
