I'm thinking of using a nuget feed as a release device. Basically packages that are ready to be used in the release product version can be placed in the release feed. I was wondering if there is an easy way to place a reference to a package from another feed. I can see I can upload a package from another feed, but it requires be to type in the ID and version.

I'd like to do something as part of our release process, where I can have someone easily promote a package version to the release feed.

      Product: ProGet
      Version: 2.2.10

We had considered this feature when designing ProGet, but ultimately didn't implement it.

One very popular workflow is to have BuildMaster push the packages to different feeds based on environment. Have you considered using that?
