      Greetings,
I'm just now testing out Proget to manage Nuget packages for my business (I'm a one person startup, with all the money issues that entails, so I can't get the paid version just yet). I know LDAP authentication is not available at my level, but is it possible to at least require a username and password to access a feed? I'm trying to determine whether I can get away with exposing my proget site to the open web. I don't really need granular control, just plain old authentication, and I'll be able to successfully use the product remotely without messing with a VPN. Is this possible? Do I just remove anonymous access to make this happen?

      Thanks,
      Will

      Product: ProGet
      Version: 3.1.2

Yes, removing the privileges for the anonymous user will force authentication in the feed. You can also set an API key for the feed similar to NuGet.org feeds.
