I have 3 deployables and only 1 is being promoted beyond the integration environment. The others are empty and not found, but I can see them in the artifacts section of the build notes for integration.

      Here is the log entry:
      Action Group 3: Manage Images
      Action 1: Deploy 'DesktopApplication-7.0-wBImages' to C:\BuildMaster\Installs\QA-Int%RELNO%.%BLDNO%\wbImages
      Initializing Action...
      RemoteAction Initialization Complete:
      Temp Directory: C:\BuildMaster_SVCTMP_A1_S4\TMP
      Source Directory: C:\BuildMaster_SVCTMP_A1_S4\WRK
      Target Directory: C:\BuildMaster\Installs\QA-Int\7.0.0.40\wbImages
      Server: DCQC1-SVRVM-52 (Id: 1)
      Initialization Complete. Executing...
      Preparing directories...
      Loading file...
Artifact does not exist in the artifact library.
      Execution Complete. Finalizing...
      Finalization Complete.

        Hi Bryan,

The "Artifact does not exist in the artifact library" message can be triggered by a few things:

        • The Action Group is associated with a different deployable than the action was created with
        • The Create Artifact Step wasn't run
        • There is a typo/misspelling in the artifact name

Based on your log entry, you're trying deploy "DesktopApplication-7.0-wBImages" within deployable id 4.

Is that where you are creating the artifact?

I just saw the log entries for the other artifacts which I got working. The wbImages should be #3 out of the artifacts, but is searched for as if it was #4.

          Source Directory: C:\BuildMaster_SVCTMP_A1_S4\WRK

The other two artifacts work because they were searched for in _S1 and _S2. How can I switch the _S4?

That's in the Action Group's Property Page (Action Group > Edit Details). It's a drop down that lists all deployables.

I have the artifact with contents in the original Build Artifacts list. I checked and no typos that I can see. Action Group is for the right deployable. My other deployables are working now that I reordered them.

I did have a fourth deployable listed, that was not created yet by the build (for future release). Would that have thrown off the artifact search?

I can email the full log if it would help.

A full log might be the easiest to debug.

It is working now that I set the Action Group to "all deployables".

I still can't use the specific deployable though. I copied the named deployable through my steps and it fails... but the generic works just fine.
