Custom AWS KMS key for Server-Side Encryption of S3 Package Store

Is it possible to specify custom AWS KMS key when enabling "Use server-side encryption" for S3 package store?

This is not currently a feature, but we could investigate adding it to the extension.
I am not an expert in AWS, so can you help us to understand a usecase? Why would you want to use a custom KMS key? How does that benefit vs using built-in?
