Hi, does proget also support a typings registry so we can deploy typings like we would normally do in addition to npm?

Reading the typings documentation, it would appear there is actually no such thing as a "typings registry ", you use one of the sources listed.
Since npm is one of the sources, you could use an npm source with a typings.

I think it would be great if proget could be a "source" and cache and proxy the typings.

Well if you used "npm" as a source, and then set up that as a registry in ProGet, then it could be a source.
